More than just being a high performance sports car the 2009 Ford Mustang Coupe is an appealing combination of power and elegance. Ford has succeeded in blending the classic exterior styling of the 1960s with a highly futuristic interior and an array of technological features.
Exterior Styling
It is evident from several 2009 Ford Mustang reviews that experts agree on the styling of the pony car. While the 2009 Ford Mustang coupe exudes coolness in exterior styling the 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby versions are more aggressive typical of a muscle car. Interior Comfort
Both the 2009 Ford Mustang coupe and convertible can accommodate four people along with enough storage at the rear cargo. Even though its charcoal black leather seating and aluminum dashboard looks sophisticated the appeal is reduced by excessive use of hard plastic inside the car. The same is applicable for the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 coupe and convertibles except the bold red seams and side bolstering on the seats.
The comfort features in Ford Mustang V6 Deluxe includes keyless access, cruise control, air-conditioning, full power accessories, a CD player with an additional audio port. The V6 Premium comes with a power driver seat, a Shaker 500 stereo with six-CD changer.
As for Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 convertible and coupe, Deluxe trims feature 18-inch alloy wheels, a front air splitter, a rear spoiler, fog-lamps, cruise control, navigation system, heat extractors, air-conditioning and power driver seat while the Premium edition comes with an additional sport bucket seats with Cobra logos and a Shaker 500 stereo with CD-changer and satellite radio.
Power and Performance
All versions of Ford Mustang are rear-wheel-drive. The 2009 Ford Mustang is equipped with a standard five-speed manual transmission with five-speed automatic as an option. The pony car uses a 4.0L 210Hp V6 producing 240lb-ft of torque.
On the other hand, the 2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is powered by a 4.6L 300Hp V8 that produces the required thrust to acquire 0 to 60mph in 5.7 seconds. But for Mustang Shelby GT500 a Tremec six-speed manual transmission is the only choice. The Ford muscle cars have 19mpg and 18mpg combined fuel economy respectively.
Safety Features
The 2009 Ford Mustang has four-wheel disc brakes and front-seat side airbags as standard safety features with optional ABS and traction control. The Shelby GT500 features Brembo brakes with ABS and traction control as standard.
Despite absence of electronic stability control all Ford Mustang models have passed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration crash tests with five stars for front and side impact protection for front seat passenger. The 2009 Ford Mustang Convertible achieved a five star rating in rear side protection as well.

That model would look very clean if you were to give it the subtle muscle look. I would definitely clean it up with a deep gloss paint and possibly strip some of the badges. Get a set of nice 18in or so rims with some mildly large tires. and run some dual single chambers out back. Throw in a clean grill and a few “subtle accents around it and that would be one bad fuc#$% ride. I think to many people drop that stlye of truck. If it is 4 wheel drive obviously you can’t bag it. Also I have noticed that the resale on the trucks that are baggedis significantly lower.
What kind of muffler is best for a muscle truck sound on my truck. ?

If you want the old school “muscle car” sound on your V6 Dakota, you want a shop to build you a cat-back dual exhaust, using 3 inch piping and glass packs on each side. This is the traditional muscle car set-up and I advise it to anyone with a Dakota. It sounds better with a 318 Magnum or 360 but the V6 still sounds quite good.
If you want a more modern sound, go with Flowmaster mufflers. You’ll get that flowmaster surging sound. There is nothing “muscle car” about flowmasters though- they weren’t invented until well after the muscle car craze.

I’ve been trying to get an Infernus for a while now.
I already beat the game, I already got the Infernus from Bernie, I already completed all of Stevie’s car missions.
The Infernus that I got from Bernie was wrecked and destroyed, I had an Infernus already while I did Stevie’s missions so there was no point in taking the one he asked me to get him.
However, afterwards I destroyed my Infernus and since then I haven’t found another one. I’ve been doing Brucie’s races to see if I’ll be put up against sports cars like the Comet, Infernus etc. but no luck. I keep getting races against trucks and hoopties along with muscle cars. WHY?????

rickdwightful, I hate GM but sorry to say I can get 5 grand sports for 1 ferrari 430, and the ferrari will always has problems and an expensive bill, aswell the vette is faster 90% of the time, think about it, the vette has the supercar badge, its cheaper to purchase, cheaper to insure, easier to take care of, better on gas, has a better resale value, etc
